Hey there, I’m Laiza! An Atlanta – GA based, Brazilian-American Travel Blogger. I came to the USA in 2016 for an exchange program and married the love of my life after the program ended. My husband and I are often on the road and always ready to get in the car and drive somewhere new to explore this beautiful country that I have the pleasure to call home. We love finding hidden gems and stop at random road stops along the way. In this blog, I share a lot about travel and I also talk about the Au Pair program and answer questions about the citizenship process. I’m a stay-at-home-wife and when I’m not traveling, I love reading, doing crafts and DIY, cooking, doing home projects and being with my hubby and dogs.

Launched in 2019, this blog started as a travel diary where I could write everything I did during my AuPair Exchange Program in the USA and it has now become a place to inspire people to travel more no matter what their budget is! The goal of this blog is to give you all the inspiration for your dream vacation: what to see, when to visit, what to do there, and best local foods to try. Plus, on top of teaching you how to plan for it, there will also be some recommendations to get you prepared for your vacation like: books to read and movies to watch before your trip and also recipes to try at home after you’re back! The recommendations are based on what each place has to offer the best and things you must try to have the best understanding of the culture and experience the place like a local.
